Teresa To is the Head of L&H Underwriting & Claims Office, APAC (excluding China) at Swiss Re. In this role, she leads the development of forward-looking underwriting and claims solutions that enable risk acceptance, with a strong focus on growth, operational efficiency, quality, and innovation-driven capability building.
With over 20 years of experience in Life and Health underwriting and claims, including High Net Worth underwriting, Teresa brings deep expertise and strategic insight to the industry. Her previous roles include Deputy Chief Underwriter, Asia, and Head of Underwriting for Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
She began her career at AIA(B) Hong Kong, and prior to joining Swiss Re, she was Assistant Manager overseeing Life & Health underwriting operations.
Teresa is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI) and the Academy of Life Underwriting (ALU), underscoring her commitment to professional excellence and continuous learning in the life and health insurance sector.
