Kaspar Mueller is the Chief Underwriting Officer for Property & Casualty Structured Solutions at Swiss Re, with more than 25 years of international experience in reinsurance, strategy, and financial services.
He began his career at Swiss Re in Private Equity and Corporate Development and later moved into management consulting with a focus on insurance and banking clients. In 2010, he rejoined Swiss Re as part of the Group Strategy team, subsequently taking on senior leadership roles including Americas Head of Strategy & Operations, Global Head of Reinsurance Strategy & Business Development, and Global Chief Operating Officer for Reinsurance.
Most recently, he served as President of Reinsurance for Latin America and the Caribbean, where he led the region for six years, driving strategic growth and client engagement across diverse markets.
He holds a master’s degree in Finance from the University of Zürich and is a CFA charter holder.
