We are looking for hard-working and passionate people to be part of our Enterprise Architecture team. We work with a wide array of engineers, Tech Area Leads and architects to define the future enterprise cloud architecture along the entire value chain of the re-/insurance business.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead and collaborate with the architects across Swiss Re to define architecture patterns, standards and guidelines for technology in our cloud environments. You are part of managing the technology landscape for the organization following Enterprise Architecture processes.

You will develop, support, implement and communicate the future target architecture of our solutions fulfilling organization and business goals. You will lead technology architecture initiatives within EA and participate in defining and communicating those architectures across the architecture community. You will own the definition and management of tech architecture patterns in a data-driven architecture practice.

You identify and continuously improve architecture processes, tools, and governance in all domains of IT, business, applications, data, platforms, and technology.

Job Requirements

• Have deep technical and cloud architecture skills and be well versed in the analysis of solutions, services, and platforms.
• Have 10+ years' experience in IT, with 4 of those as a platform or solution architect. Experience as an enterprise architect is an advantage.
• Show accomplishments in leading technology and/or solution architecture with technical architecture and analysis a key part of that.
• Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced surrounding, can get things done and deal positively with ambiguity.
• Strive to continuously research current and emerging technology trends and assess the opportunities for our business.
• Show extensive experience in working with teams on various cloud technologies and cloud computing (e.g., applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, data) in Microsoft Azure and/or other public cloud platforms.
• Can support our team and can guide our business and technical colleagues, pro-actively aligning with them and actively contributing to their success.
• Highly proficient in working in English.

Education

• Possess a Masters/Bachelor's relevant degree (e.g., Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science) or demonstrate equivalent experience.
• Certification in cloud computing, cloud market, and engaged dynamics is a plus.
• Certification in architecture frameworks is a plus, e.g., TOGAF, Zachman etc.
