Graduate Programme
Meet our graduates
FAQ section
How to apply?
The graduate programme starts in September each year with varying recruitment timelines per region/country. All graduate positions are posted for a minimum of 2 weeks.
If you are interested in applying for our programme, we recommend that you regularly check our career page and apply to roles of interest.
Our recruitment process is the same worldwide. To join the programme, you must at a minimum have a bachelor's degree before the programme starting date.
When you apply for a position, please ensure you hold a valid work permit for the applicable region/country.
What does the training offer?
The focus is mainly on technical training, as our business is highly specialised. During the 18 months you will receive on-the-job training and attend several training days designed specifically for the programme and your function and role.
What should I consider when applying?
In your application you should clearly demonstrate the entry qualifications and motivation that make you the ideal candidate for the position. Only applications submitted electronically through our career website will be considered.
We advise candidates who apply for the graduate programme to ensure they hold a valid work permit for the country where the position is located. We may not be able to assist with obtaining work permits. Our talent acquisition team will review applications on a case-by-case basis.
Our business language is English. Unless otherwise noted in the posting, speaking the local language is not a requirement but it will be an advantage.
What is our advice for candidates?
While the points below might be familiar, keeping them in mind can significantly boost your chances of a successful application:
- Carefully read the graduate role descriptions first which you can find on the website (dates vary by region). We encourage you to approach this step with an open mind and consider areas you may not have contemplated before.
- Choose the position(s) you would like to apply for based on your strengths and interests as well as your educational background and experience rather than on whether you are familiar with an area or not. We recommend that you focus on two or three positions which best fit your profile.
- Make sure your cover letter clearly outlines your motivation for the programme and the position(s) you apply for.
- You should factor in the time needed to complete the online ability assessment(s) and ensure that you are undisturbed while taking them. The assessment(s) must be completed within 72 hours upon receiving the email(s) with the link(s). Emails are sent shortly after you complete your application, please check your spam folder if you do not see them in your inbox. You can also find the assessment link(s) in your application profile by navigating to Job management > Actions > Take assessment (select from the dropdown menu)
I am not a recent graduate. Can I still apply?
The programme is aimed mainly at recent graduates with a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree and have no more than three years of work experience. If you have more than three years of work experience by the time you apply, we recommend that you apply for our open positions aimed at early or experienced professionals.
What does the hiring process look like?
Our talent acquisition professionals review all applications. If you are successful in the first stage you might expect a short call to discuss your skills, experience and motivation further. When all of the above-mentioned match the position you applied for, and you are selected then candidates will be invited to an assessment centre.
All assessment centres are now virtual and if selected, our talent acquisition team will inform you about all the details you will need.
What can I do if I experience technical problems with the online assessment?
If you experience problems accessing the online assessments through the links you received via email, you can also find them in your application by navigating to My Profile in the Jobs Applied section.
For technical problems with the online assessments, please refer to the CEB Knowledge Base.
