About the InfoTech Data Corpus Team:
• We are a team of expert business analysts and data engineers, spread across multiple locations around the 
globe, driving the Infotech Data Corpus in Swiss Re's Group Data Services (GDS).
• Working with exciting data platforms such as Palantir Foundry and Azure Synapse our team generates
synergies across nearly 100 data sources, offering high quality analytical data and bringing to life solutions 
supporting key decision-making business processes. 
Our multicultural team plays a crucial role with People planning, Cloud Consumption and Infrastructure cost 
planning for all business units within Swiss Re.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end ingestion and maintenance of complex data pipelines across our cloud 
platforms, including:
• Ensure the reliability, data quality and optimal performance of our data assets
• Deliver high-quality code, focusing on simplicity, reusability, performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate with various partners to define new processes, develop data models and deliver trustable 
products
• Own and handle incidents, problems and change requests for the data assets under your ownership,
driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team and with our data partners
About You
• If you enjoy the challenge of finding optimal solutions for demanding situations using state-of-the-art 
technologies, being a part of a dynamic, delivery focused team we would like to speak to you.
• You are eager to learn and demonstrate your competences and you are a self-starter with a proven 
track record in cloud engineering. 
• You have a master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or equal.
• Over 3-5 years of working experience as Cloud Data Engineer, preferably in a data function (MDM, DataWarehouse, Data Governance, Meta-Data, Data Catalog etc.).
• Marvelous social skills and a good grasp of the English language (spoken and written).
• Problem solving comes naturally to you. With your outstanding analytical skills, you consider multiple 
dimensions and perspectives before arriving at the most optimum solutions to the challenge at hand.
• Proficient in navigating databases to perform data analysis, data profiling and good data modelling 
expertise. Working experience with data integration, using ETL/batch jobs and Web Services 
(REST/SOAP) is a bonus.
• A phenomenal teammate, with experience working in an agile software development environment
