Wouter Kornelis Head Non-Life Actuarial Reserving EMEA Actuarial Reserving

Wouter joined Swiss Re from Bâloise Group in 2007 in Group Risk Modelling working in solvency capital modelling. Subsequently, he moved into a Reserving role and as the Zurich Reserving hub lead is responsible for all general liability lines in EMEA. Additionally, the Zurich hub has reserving responsibility for Credit & Surety and Agriculture business for regions EMEA and Americas. Furthermore, he is leading a global team of pricing actuaries responsible for commutations, portfolio management and liability management. He holds a PhD in Physics from ETH Zurich and is a qualified actuary and a fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK.
