Victoria Mayo joined Swiss Re in 2012 and is currently serving as Head Compliance P&C & L&H Reinsurance. In this role, she is part of both the Compliance Leadership Team and the Legal & Compliance Executive Team, responsible for compliance enabling and assurance across Swiss Re's Reinsurance Business Units.
Over her 12-year career at Swiss Re, Victoria has worked in Compliance across multiple areas of Swiss Re, including Corporate Solutions, iptiQ EMEA and Reinsurance Solutions. In 2018, she became the Head of Compliance for iptiQ EMEA P&C, where she joined the Executive Team and played a key role in providing strategic compliance solutions and developing comprehensive Compliance Frameworks across the entire primary insurance value chain.
In 2022, Victoria returned to the Reinsurance family and was appointed Head of Compliance for P&C and L&H Re EMEA & Solutions before taking on the global Reinsurance role in 2025. Sanctions advisory and framework development has been a topic throughout Victoria's career and she was also responsible for leading Compliance's crisis management response and reporting obligations both internally and to our regulators during the outbreak of the Russian-Ukraine war. In addition to her role, she holds the Luxembourg CAA-regulated Key Function Holder Compliance position for Swiss Re Europe S.A.
