Theresa Patricios Head of Investments Convex Insurance

Theresa (Tia) began her career as a pricing and reserving actuary at Swiss Re. After learning about the ins and outs of reinsurance, she took a role in investment management in 2005 and has remained on the asset side since. She left Swiss Re in 2010 to join Catlin as head of steering and reporting. After various roles at Catlin and XL Catlin, she joined Convex in May 2019 as Head of Investments. Tia grew up in Johannesburg and never knew what it was like to miss the sun until she moved to Zurich in 2005, where she is still currently located. She has Greek descent and one of her strongest passions is spending time on the island of Ithaka, where she has her roots.
