Samantha Rule is the Chief Information Security at Ninety One, responsible for overseeing the firm’s global cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the resilience and integrity of its technology platforms, and driving innovation initiatives that enhance Ninety One’s digital and operational capabilities.

Before joining Ninety One, Samantha held senior leadership roles in cybersecurity and technology across several global financial institutions. She built and scaled high-performing security and engineering teams, implemented advanced threat management programs, and led technology transformation across complex, regulated environments.

A recognised thought leader in cybersecurity and innovation, Samantha regularly advises industry forums on emerging security trends and the strategic role of technology in asset management. Her leadership has been acknowledged through multiple awards, including being named a Global 100 CISO and one of the Top 30 UK CISOs in 2025.

Samantha holds a Master of Science in Computer Science, specialising in information security, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree with a focus on digital forensics. She also holds international certifications including CISSP, CISA, and CCSP.
