Samantha Dunn Head Sustainability Underwriting CUO P&C Reinsurance

Samantha Dunn is the Head of ESG in Property, Casualty & Specialty Underwriting. Underwriting has a plethora of emerging opportunities to support ESG. In her role Samantha helps the business to identify these opportunities, deepen underwriters knowledge of sustainability in relation to their portfolios, and support clients on their sustainability journeys. In addition, Samantha is a co-lead on Swiss Re's Reinsurance Sustainability Strategy and responsible for its global implementation. 

Samantha has been with Swiss Re for 1 years crossing multiple functions.  Prior to her current role, Samantha was the Head of the Natural Catastrophe Protection Gap initiative, focused on solutions that made effective strides toward closing the protection gap.    

Samantha holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Truman State University and is based in Swiss Re's Kansas City office.
