Roopali Aggarwal joined Swiss Re in 2022. In her current capacity as Insurance Economist at Swiss Re Institute, she tracks India from both the macro and insurance perspectives. She also investigates the implications of alternative macroeconomic scenarios on insurance.
Prior to joining Swiss Re, Roopali worked in academic research think tanks in India and has published several peer-reviewed research papers. She holds a PhD degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
