Robin Spencer Chief Operating Officer Life & Health Reinsurance

Robin Spencer leads global operations to strengthen service delivery and scalability. He drives strategy with data and technology at the core, shaping solutions across functions and markets. He champions operational excellence and transformation, reinforcing Swiss Re’s long-term strategic goals.

Prior to joining Swiss Re, Robin was part of the Prudential Asia Executive Committee as COO Prudential Asia and CEO Prudential Thailand. Robin’s earlier career includes senior leadership positions at NN Group and Aviva Plc. At NN Group, he served as a Management Board Member and CEO of the International Division, with responsibility for international businesses, NN re and a Japanese variable annuity run-off portfolio. At Aviva, where he spent nearly two decades, he held several Executive Committee roles including CEO Aviva Canada, Group CRO, and CEO Aviva UK & Ireland.

Robin holds a master’s degree in economics from Aberdeen University and is a qualified accountant (ACMA).
