Rita Müller Head Claims WSE & MEA Market Units P&C Reinsurance

Rita Müller joined Swiss Re in March 2019 as Head of Claims for the UK and Ireland in London. During the pandemic she returned to Munich and held the position of Head of Facultative Casualty Underwriting first for Northern and Central Eastern Europe and later for the whole of Continental Europe from January 2022 to February 2024. In March 2024 Rita moved to Paris and is since then Head of Claims for Property & Casualty for Western and Southern European Markets and since July 2024 also for the Middle East and Africa. Since August 2025 she is located in the Swiss Re headquarters in Zurich.

Before joining Swiss Re she worked 20 years for Munich Re in different Senior Claims and Underwriting positions for the EMEA and Latam region. Rita is a lawyer admitted to the bar in Germany.
