Prof. Dr. Alfred Johny Wüest 伍斯特 Professor EAWAG, Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, Head of the Physics of Aquatic Systems Laboratory 瑞士联邦理工大学水科学与技术研究院教授

Prof Alfred Johny Wüest is head of the Physics of Aquatic Systems Laboratory (Margaretha Kamprad Chair) at the Institute of Environmental Engineering of ENAC/EPFL in Lausanne since 2012. In 2013, he became director of the Limnology Center at EPFL, where he leads the Lake Geneva LéXPLORE collaboration between five research units, involved in lake research. Over the last five years, A. Wüest has been a member of the Eawag Directorate (Dübendorf / Zürich). For 25 year, he headed the Aquatic Physics Group at Eawag, where he focused on research, expert consulting / services and teaching on topics of Physical Limnology and Water Resources Management. He has published various book articles, many dozens expert reports and about 170 peer-reviewed scientific papers. What he enjoyed most is to combine fundamental and problem-oriented interdisciplinary research in real-world projects.

伍斯德教授自2012年起担任瑞士联邦洛桑理工大学（EPFL）环境工程研究院水动力系主任。2013年，他成为EPFL湖泊学中心主任，领导日内瓦湖周边五个研究单位的合作与湖泊研究。自五年前至今，伍斯德教授担任瑞士联邦理工大学水科学与技术研究院（EAWAG）院领导委员会委员。25年来，他在EAWAG领导水体物理组，主要从事湖泊物理学和水资源管理方面的研究、专家咨询/服务和教学。他发表了各种书籍文章，数十份专家报告和发表了经同行评审的170余篇科学论文。他最喜欢的是将基础研究和以问题为导向的跨学科研究结合到实际具项目之中。
