Prof Alberto Cevolini Adjunct Associate Professor at Bologna University

Alberto Cevolini is adjunct associate professor of sociology at the University of Bologna. He has extensively published on insurance from a sociological viewpoint and is now responsible for the research project on “Personalised Insurance” as a part of the main research project PREDICT on “The Future of Prediction: The Social Consequences of Algorithmic Forecast in Insurance, Medicine and Policing”. PREDICT is funded by an ERC Advanced Grant (ERC-2018-ADG, n. 833749, P.I. Prof. Elena Esposito) and has started, in 2022, a scientific collaboration with Movingdots (Swiss Re) on the social impact of coaching programs in telematics motor insurance.
