Pierluigi Pezone Member Board Of Directors at Mithras Underwriting Europe SRL

Pierluigi Pezone started his career in the shipping industry before joining the Standard P&I club in 1991, assisting the Italian Underwriting Syndicate. In 1992 he moved to marine broking joining Cooper Gay with a focus on placing Hull and Machinery for Italian fleets.

Pierluigi Pezone joined the BDB Group in 1997. After a successful management buyout carried out in 2006 the Group become 100% privately owned by the executive team. Responsible for the development and growth of Financial Lines, Benefit and Casualty for the group and member of the executive Board of the group with offices in London, Brussels and Milan.

With effect from 1 August 2022 the BDB Group has been acquired by Brown & Brown. Pierluigi Pezone has retained his position on the new board of the BDB Group owned 100% by B&B.
