Nick is Coordinator of the Risk Modelling Steering Group of the Insurance Development Forum (IDF). The cross-sector working group's agenda is to open up insurance sector risk management approaches to all sectors and states, laying a foundation for enhanced risk management and financial resilience in vulnerable economies. He was previously Head of Disaster Risk Finance at the UK's Met Office, following earlier careers in strategy and risk in the military, global business and technology start-ups.
