Mirjam Eckert Publishing Director Frontiers Media SA

Mirjam Eckert completed a PhD in molecular biology at the University of Dundee in Scotland in 2006, and then moved to the University of Lausanne, Switzerland as a postdoctoral fellow to work on viral immunity. From 2010 to 2014 she was the Managing Editor of the Journal of the International AIDS Society. Mirjam then joined Frontiers as Journal Manager, was the Editorial Director from 2016 onwards, and is now the Publishing Director. She was a council member and trustee of the Committee on Publication Ethics from 2012-2019.
