Michal Kovac Senior Claims Specialist Market Units L&H Reinsurance

Michal Kováč has been with Swiss Re since 2014, specialising in the management and assessment of life insurance claims within reinsurance. In his role as Senior Claims Specialist, he provides technical expertise and support to clients and insurers across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Iberian Peninsula and the Middle East, with a focus on analysing and resolving complex life and health insurance claims, as well as supporting the development of new insurance products.

He holds a degree in Philology from Masaryk University in Brno and the University of Coimbra in Portugal. Thanks to his international academic background and language skills, he works effectively in multicultural environments, fostering collaboration with partners across different regions of the world.
