Mathieu Verillaud Valuing Impact AXA Climate

Mathieu Vérillaud has made all of his career in the insurance industry, first at the French Supervisory Authority, notably working on input and negotiations around International Financial Reporting Standards and Solvency II consultations, then at Fortis Insurance and AXA in risk management, strategy and finance roles.

He was most recently Chief Finance Officer of Bharti-AXA GI in India and later Chief Finance Officer of AXA Partners in France.

Earlier this year he joined AXA Climate, the Group’s entity dedicated to supporting adaptation to climate change and providing advanced insurance, monitoring and training capabilities to companies seeking to address it. There his focus is on impact valuation and how it can most effectively support both AXA's purpose and society at large in mitigating and adapting to the natural and social changes and challenges we face.
