Liem is the Head of Life and Health Reinsurance for South East Asia and India at Swiss Re based in Singapore. He is responsible for driving the growth of Swiss Re Life and Health's business in his markets and support our clients in closing the protection gap.
Liem has 20 years of experience in Life and Health Reinsurance. Prior to this role, Liem held various technical and commercial leadership roles in the region. He was notably the the Regional Head of Pricing and Underwriting for South East Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and India at Swiss Re, where he leads a team of pricing actuaries and underwriters focusing on developing and pricing protection products and continuously striving at closing the protection gap across the region.
Liem is a Swiss born Vietnamese who moved to Singapore 14 years ago. Before that Liem held various actuarial roles at Swiss Re in Zurich.
Liem holds a Master Degree in Actuarial Management from CASS Business School in London. In his spare time, Liem enjoys doing outdoor sport activities.
