As Senior Vice President, Head of L&H Growth Innovation for the US, Kim and her team are focused on working with our carrier partners to grow sales through insurtech, distribution, and product innovation. The team is building new solutions and making strategic connections with ecosystem partners to help make life insurance more available, affordable, and accessible. Tapping into new customers in new ways and finding products that resonate with emerging customers is what inspires Kim each and every day.
Kim brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to innovation in the life insurance world. Kim has over twenty years of experience in the (re)insurance industry; throughout this time she has held various positions in different functional areas. Kim began her career in Kansas City with General Electric in the Information technology space supporting the P&C team. When that business was acquired by Swiss Re, she quickly found her new home in the L&H world spending many years (including one in London) learning the entire L&H value chain by designing, building and implementing systems to support the L&H business globally. As Kim continued to grow and develop her ability to execute shone through. Kim kept that track record going as she joined Swiss Re's L&H Consulting team where she delivered major strategic initiatives and change programs across the L&H business both in the Americas as well as at the global scale.
Kim joined the Client Markets family at Swiss Re in 2020, taking a Solutions Operational Excellence and Governance role, where she helped to co-create the regional solutions team and lead a team of innovation managers to bring new solutions to market. Most recently, in mid 2022, Kim took on her latest challenge as Head of L&H Growth Innovation for the US.
She graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. She is based in Armonk, NY and lives close by with her husband and two children Alexandra (10) and Adrian (9). They enjoy living in an area with both quick access to NYC as well as many mountains and lakes in their backyard.
