Professional Experience

Kenji Fujii has 28 years of insurance experience globally.

In partnership with Toyota, he established Toyota branded insurance in three countries including Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. This enabled the automaker to expand its value chain of offerings to include insurance.

 In 2016, Kenji established Toyota Insurance Management Solutions (TIMS) in the United States as a joint venture between Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Services, USA, Toyota Financial Services International Corp., and Toyota Connected, USA. TIMS was created with the mission to utilize big data available from cars specifically for the insurance business.

Kenji founded MOTER Technologies, Inc. in 2021. MOTER’s goal is to bridge the gap between automakers and insurers by using edge computing software built into next-gen connected cars to more efficiently and effectively use connected car data for direct benefits in the insurance business.
