Joanmarie DiMirco Group L&H Underwriter Market Units L&H Reinsurance

Joanmarie is an Assistant Vice President on the U.S. Group Life & Health team at Swiss Re, based in Armonk, New York. She is a Life Underwriter and Client Manager responsible for delivering underwriting expertise and managing key client relationships across a broad portfolio.

With over two decades of experience in reinsurance, Joanmarie specializes in facultative underwriting and the assessment of complex life risks. She plays a key role in guideline development, benchmarking, and the evaluation of underwriting frameworks. In addition to her technical expertise, she partners closely with clients to provide case consultation, deliver data-driven insights, and support their underwriting and business objectives.

Joanmarie also contributes to operational and strategic initiatives across the Group team, including reporting, policy review, and the analysis of marketing feedback and performance data to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

She joined Swiss Re in 2004 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems/Computer Science.
