Jens Jelitto Senior Research Scientist - Decentralised Trust IBM Research

Jens Jelitto is a Senior Research Scientist at IBM Research Lab in Zurich, Switzerland where he is currently working on designing and building decentralized identity systems centered around self-sovereign identity concepts. Before, Jens worked on the application of Blockchain technologies for several industries with focus on its application in the world of IoT and linking the physical with the digital world in a trusted way through the concept of crypto anchors.

Jens held several research and management positions in the areas of wireless communications and storage technologies. Jens holds M.Sc./Dipl.-Ing. and PhD. degrees from the Dresden University of Technology. He is Senior Member of the IEEE and holds more than 150 patents.
