Jennifer Stevens is a Senior Vice President and head of Swiss Re's US Multi-national Casualty Treaty Underwriting Team. Jennifer is also the portfolio manager for the North America Liability line of business. She has 30 years of experience in (re)insurance underwriting and is based in Chicago, Illinois.
Prior to her current position, Jennifer led Swiss Re's Global Casualty Facultative Reinsurance Products Underwriting and Risk Engineering Units from 2013 to 2016. She also led Swiss Re’s Global Casualty Centre unit from 2011 to 2013 and was based in Zurich, Switzerland for 2 years.
In 2003, Jennifer joined GE Insurance Solutions/ ERC Frankona in Munich, Germany as Casualty Risk Manager for Europe and Asia.
Prior to joining GE, Jennifer held a variety of Underwriting and Leadership positions within the primary Insurance Industry at Allianz Global Risks in Munich, Germany, Fireman’s Fund in Chicago, Illinois and Zurich Insurance North America in several US cities.
Jennifer received her Masters of Business Administration with Honors from the American Graduate School of International Management “Thunderbird” in Glendale, Arizona. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Management and French from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
