Haig Peter Manager IBM Client Center Think Lab

Haig A. Peter is Manager of the IBM Client Center Think Lab. Co-located on the campus of the internationally recognized IBM Research Center in Zurich, Switzerland, the Think Lab is the door to IBM Research for IBM’s clients and business partners. It’s where they can explore what’s next in Hybrid Cloud, AI, Quantum, and Science. It opens a world of insights from world-class researchers, industry and trend experts and inspires new pathways for innovation. Prior to his current role, Haig was an Executive Briefing Consultant at the IBM Think Lab, focusing on clients from the retail, consumer products, healthcare, pharmaceutical, travel & transportation and media & entertainment industries. In addition, he served as an AI ambassador to IBM’s key clients. Haig brings with him over 25 years of sales experience in technology, retail, and distribution. He joined IBM in 2000 and holds a Sound Engineering degree.

Prior to that, Haig was working as a Client Executive responsible for a Territory of Large Enterprises, Strategic Consulting, including business plan & sales strategy development.

Haig also served as the Major Markets sales segment leader for the Centre for Learning and Development. In this role he was responsible for driving consultative development of the sales executives, leaders and sellers as part of the global Sales Eminence transformation programme. Haig has delivered initiative programmes utilising external subject matter experts from companies including London Business School in order to drive higher value in the skill development initiatives aligned to the strategic priorities of the corporation.

Haig also served as senior sales specialist for the Systems Technology Group (STG), consistently delivering strong results and launching significant initiatives for the growth of STG. Previously based in Geneva, Haig served as sales specialist for STG where he was responsible for large accounts, Integrated Accounts and the driving the channel business.
