Giselle Macias Marine Underwriting Associate CUO P&C Reinsurance

Giselle Macías holds a degree in International Relations from Universidad La Salle México. She has more than seven years of professional experience in the insurance industry, with strong expertise in Marine insurance, including underwriting and risk analysis related to maritime and inland transportation, as well as international logistics.

She began her career in the Mexican insurance market in 2019, developing technical expertise in risk assessment, insurance program management, and corporate client service. Throughout her career, she has strengthened her experience in analyzing and underwriting risks associated with international trade, cargo transportation, and supply chains.

Since 2025, she has been part of Swiss Re as a Marine Underwriter, responsible for the Mexican and Central American markets. In her current role, she participates in the assessment and structuring of insurance solutions for transportation and logistics risks, working closely with clients and brokers to provide solutions tailored to the specific needs of each operation.
