Gerhard Ploner Reifer&Frener

Gerhard Ploner is CEO, Managing Director and shareholder at FRENER & REIFER GmbH in Brixen, South Tyrol, Italy. Gerhard was born in Brixen as a genuine South Tyrolean with Tyrolean and Ladin roots and joined the company at 18 and is FRENER & REIFER through and through. He embodies the success of the hard-working craftsman, rising from apprentice mechanical engineer to certified master mechanic while accumulating  workshop, production, design office and installation experience. He has 30 years of cost estimation experience, 20 of them as Chief Estimator and 15 as Head of Department. Previously the “right hand” of the founder and owner, Georg Frener, Gerhard was appointed Operations Director in 2014, became COO and Senior Vice President in 2019 and has occupied his current position since last year.
