George Koukoumakis Claims Expert CUO P&C Reinsurance

George is a Claims Expert based in Zurich and leading SR Global Marine Expert Network. He is responsible for a Marine & Engineering portfolio in EMEA, across different jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Swiss Re, George has 14 years of experience in the marine industry both in Greece and Switzerland. His career includes positions in Technical, Crew, Safety and Operations, with functions such as Technical Director and DPA. He has first-hand experience in handling H&M & cargo losses.

He holds a MEng in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering and an MBA from the University of St. Gallen.
