Geoffrey Au Chief Product and In-force Officer HSBC Life

Geoffrey Au serves as the Chief Product and In-force Officer for HSBC Life Hong Kong and Macau. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring a competitive product shelf to maintain HSBC Life’s market leadership position and managing the performance of all in-force policies.

Prior to joining HSBC Life, Geoffrey held executive roles at other insurance companies, including most recently serving as the founding CEO of a life insurance company alongside managing two other entities. During his tenure, he led the company to achieve a multiple fold in market growth within three years. 

His career includes positions across the United States, India, and China, spanning global, regional, and local responsibilities in finance, actuarial, and risk management. 

Geoffrey holds a double-major degree in Finance and Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating with highest honors. He is a CFA charter holder, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), and a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
