Franco Ciamberlano Head Facultative Engineering

Franco Ciamberlano is a graduate Engineer with an additional degree in Financial Risk Management. After having worked in the industry in Switzerland, the Maghreb and Middle East, Franco joined SwissRe in 1995 as Engineering underwriter in Zurich. He then occupied various underwriting functions successively in Zurich, Mexico, and Madrid, for Engineering and Property. In 2004 he came back to Zurich where he worked for Group Product Management Engineering before taking over the responsibility for the Engineering desk in 2007.

He is currently heading the Facultative business and the Digital Engineering initiative.
