Ed is a Senior Vice President at Swiss Re Life & Health, where he leads pricing strategy for new business and in-force opportunities across group and individual life and health.  He is responsible for overseeing the integration of economic, mortality, and lapse assumptions within Swiss Re’s pricing framework, supporting disciplined risk management and competitive client solutions.

Ed joined Swiss Re in 2001 following its acquisition of Lincoln Re, where he began his career in 1999.  Over his tenure, he has played a key role in advancing mortality, lapse, and underwriting research and translating those insights into practical applications through the Life Mortality System.  Prior to his current role, he spent several years in Client Markets, working directly with insurers as a pricing actuary.

Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Michigan.  He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
