Debbie Smith Chief Medical Officer EMEA

Debbie leads a team of doctors supporting clients in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Working in insurance since 1985, she left to pursue a career in medicine, returning to the fold to work with Swiss Re from 2007. She held dual roles until recently, working as an Acute Physician in the UK's largest NHS Trust before moving full time into the CMO role for EMEA. She sits on the committee of the AMUS, acts as Scientific Officer on the LUCID committee and is a member of both the ABI Critical Illness & Genetics Working Parties.
