Dan McKinney Client Delivery Project Manager CUO L&H Reinsurance

Dan McKinney is Vice president of the Data Driven Underwriting solutions team - Americas. There he leads cross-functional teams of underwriters, transformation consultants, data scientists and actuaries to develop and deliver innovative underwriting solutions across the Americas. Dan is responsible for the digital clinical health data strategy for the US, including product development and managing the strategic partnerships that support those initiatives.

Most recently Dan worked as a Global transformations' leader Baker McKenzie, one of the world's largest law firms. Prior to that Dan worked at MetLife where he managed day to day operations of the Distribution Development team. A cross functional group of underwriters, compensation experts, relationship managers, and IT professionals who develop tailored and specialized solutions for brokers and national clients. A team focused on best-in-class service, maximum business value and long-term revenue goals.

Before entering the insurance world, Dan was a Sergeant in the United States Army.  He served as an Infantry Squad leader with the 10th Mountain Division out of Ft. Drum, NY and served numerous rotations globally. He concluded his honorable service having distinguished himself as a combat proven leader recognized by multiple awards for superior performance.

Dan received his BA in Psychology from Columbia University. He was born and raised in the greater New York City area and currently lives in Northern New Jersey with his wife and 2 kids. He coaches youth ice hockey and baseball and is the Assistant Scout Master of his son's cub scout pack.
