Connie Kuang Lead, Metaverse Value Creation, World Economic Forum

Connie Kuang leads the Metaverse Value Creation portfolio, in the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution at the World Economic Forum. In her role, she looks at social and economic implications of metaverse technology; spanning immersive media, web3 and technical infrastructure. Whether it is new value chains and business model disruptions, or the heightened need for accessibility and equity in adoption, understanding value is necessary in guiding the metaverse to be as open, interoperable and economically sustainable as possible.

Connie brings experience from consumer goods, e-commerce and creative tech to this role, and holds a dual degree Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Film and Media Studies from the Smith School of Business, and Queen’s University.
