Clement Guitton is a reinsurance underwriter for Political Violence, a line of business covering damage to property resulting from political perils such war, terrorism, and civil commotion. Previously, he was Senior Political Risk Manager where he was responsible for identifying and assessing the impact of political risks on the company across its assets, liabilities, and beyond. He joined Swiss Re in 2017, after years of experience in consulting, government, international organisations, and academia. Clement has backgrounds in engineering (BSc/MSc), political science (Masters, PhD), and finance (MBA, FRM).
