Chris Carpenter Client Underwriter Market Units P&C Reinsurance

Chris is a Vice President and Claims Expert with the Swiss Re P&C Business Management Americas.  He joined Swiss Re in 2021, and is a member of the Property Expert Network for the Americas Region.  In his role as Claims Expert, he manages claims and consults with a wide variety of regional and national clients.  He also assists in managing large property losses and complex credit and surety claims.

Prior to joining Swiss Re, Chris worked in catastrophe response for a large US-based P&C carrier, with front-line claims handling experience after high-profile catastrophic events, including four years in leadership positions. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Kansas State University, with a major in English and a German concentration.
