Chelsea is Vice President of U.S. Group Life & Health Underwriting at Swiss Re. Her role encompasses various underwriting and client management responsibilities. Chelsea is passionate about leveraging new technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and risk assessment in group underwriting.
Chelsea is involved in the Group Underwriters Association of America (GUAA) as both the Assistant Treasurer and as a member of the Life Committee, where she enjoys working with other GUAA members to share knowledge, learn from each other and help strengthen our industry.
Prior to joining Swiss Re in 2014, Chelsea worked as an Underwriting Consultant at Aetna. She began her career at The Hartford in 2006, and she has worked as an Underwriter for both the Group Reinsurance Plus (GRP) and Group Benefits divisions.
She earned an MS in Applied Data Science from Bay Path University in 2024. She also holds an MBA from The University of Hartford and a BA in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University. Chelsea is located in Simsbury, CT.
