Camilo Alvarez Expert Underwriter Engineering CUO P&C Reinsurance

Camilo Alvarez joined Swiss Re in 2004. In his role as Head Treaty Engineering Underwriting, he is responsible for the approval of large and complex treaty deals as well as for the development of guidelines, processes, tools and training for Global Engineering treaty business. He is also responsible for the underwriting of treaty business in Latinamerica. In 1999, Camilo Alvarez began his career at Sura Seguros in Colombia and has worked also in Italy and Spain. He holds a Master's degree in International Management from Oxford Brookes University.
