Bruno Scaroni Group Chief Transformation Officer Generali

Bruno joined Assicurazioni Generali in 2013, first as Chief Distribution Officer of Generali Italy and then, in 2014, as CEO of Europ Assistance Italy.

In 2017 he joined the Generali Head Office as Group Strategy & Business Accelerator Director, in charge of Group Strategy, Business Accelerator function, of Group Business Development & Partnerships as well as Vitality and Group Bancassurance.

In 2021, he was appointed Group Chief Transformation Officer, which encompasses the Group Strategy & Business Accelerator functions, the Group Operations & Processes function and the Group Digitalization function. The Group Bancassurance function and Generali Vitality also remain under his responsibility.

Previously Bruno has worked for Goldman Sachs International McKinsey, as well as Zurich Financial Services Life Division. He has also been a member of European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority, the Insurance & Reinsurance Stakeholder Group, since July 2018.

Born in Milan, Bruno Scaroni graduated in industrial engineering from the Politecnico of Milan and holds an MBA in finance and management from the Columbia Business School in New York.
