Beatrice Andrade is Head P&C Re Business Operations since April 2023, based in Paris.
Over the past 28 years in the reinsurance industry Beatrice always operated in operational expertise areas (Claims and TA) and is well known for her ability to develop culturally and geographically diverse teams in a way that improves engagement and results.
Recently appointed Head P&C Re Business Operations, Beatrice will be in charge of the end-to-end contract administration for PC RE (from pre bound services, through technical accounting and claims administration).
She is driving instrumental initiatives to digitize, automate and streamline our end-to-end service delivery, and actively partnering with regional stakeholders to target further improvement opportunities in and outside of P&C RE Operations.
Of the 18 years she has been part of the Swiss Re P&C community, 15 were in leadership positions in Operations, including Head EMEA and Asia Claims Operations from 2011 to 2016. Béatrice later became our first P&C Business Management (BM) Country Head for France, taking over leadership of Claims Management with dotted line responsibility for all other P&C BM functions (Operations, TA, In-force Management and Reserving). She was instrumental in pioneering our shared end-to-end vision, and in bringing all of P&C BM closer to the Cross Functional Team and clients to strengthen our brand as a differentiator in and outside of Swiss Re.
Since 2020, as the Head of P&C BM Operations, Béatrice's focus has been on harmonizing our global operations activities and approach to ensure all our clients and stakeholders feel a positive difference in terms of 'ease of doing business' and efficient, effective service delivery. Working closely with the teams to reinforce a shared sense of purpose, to embed a commercial and performance culture that is focused on continuously improving and, of course, in supporting the Global Service Center teams in upskilling their capabilities to deliver both improved client experience and Swiss Re Cross Functional Team impact. An ambition she will pursue and expand on in her new role.
Béatrice is a graduate of Swiss Re's Leadership Development Program and Group Management Development Program and holds a senior degree in Accounting and Finance.
