Beat Kramer Mölbert Group AI Enablement Lead Chief Digital & Technology Office

Beat Kramer Mölbert has led Swiss Re’s AI Programme since fall 2025 as Group AI Lead, running and growing the programme as overall programme manager. In February 2026, he transitioned to Group AI Enablement Lead, with a focus on underwriting thought leadership, scaling AI solutions across the organization, and serving as ambassador for the programme.

Beat joined Swiss Re in 2005 as a tool developer and contributed to the company’s first pandemic model during the bird flu outbreak. From 2008 to 2023, he held various treaty underwriting roles, including individual deal underwriting, natural catastrophe accumulation management, and regional responsibility for treaty Property underwriting in the EMEA region. From 2023 to 2025, he led the underwriting transformation in Property and Casualty reinsurance, simplifying processes and advancing data-driven decision-making.

He holds a PhD in molecular biotechnology from ETH Zurich, is married and has two sons.
