Dr Asha Sapre has been associated with Swiss Re since 2004 initially as an external medical consultant and now as Senior Global Medical Officer with Life Guide and medical research team since 2022. She is involved in evidence-based research for Life Guide and contributes to global leadership projects and publications. She supports product design and development, underwriting guidelines and industry interactions with APAX clients.
She is ICLAM (International committee for Insurance medicine) bureau member from India. She has been part of the committee reviewing the course materials of basic and advanced course of underwriting conducted by Insurance Institute of India.
Dr Asha has received her MBBS (Bachelors) and MD in General Medicine from University of Mumbai and is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of India. She has experience of more than 25 years in clinical medicine and direct patient care as a consultant physician.
