Andrea Pintus Senior Sustainability Manager Group Underwriting

Andrea is a senior sustainability professional in Swiss Re's Group sustainability team. He joined Swiss Re to drive the sustainability value proposition for Alternative Capital Partners by also leveraging his regulatory experience. In addition, he also supports the sustainability initiatives across the Swiss Re Group.

Before joining Swiss Re in 2021, he worked in Brussels at Insurance Europe, the European insurance and reinsurance federation, where he was leading the policy work related to investments and sustainable finance.  Before joining Insurance Europe, Andrea was a Senior Consultant in the EY Financial Services, the risk advisory services of EY. He also worked for three years in Nigeria as assistant finance manager for Orlean Invest Africa, a large provider of logistics services in Africa. Andrea holds a master in economics and social sciences from Bocconi University in Italy and an Advanced Master in quantitative finance from Solvay Brussels School in Belgium.
