Amitabha Ray Market Head

Amitabha Ray is the Chief Executive Officer for Swiss Reinsurance India Branch. Based in Mumbai, he is responsible for driving Swiss Re's non-life reinsurance business together with a team of Client Managers in India.

A 27-year veteran of Swiss Re, he has worked mainly in the property reinsurance business in his career. During his career, he has held various roles in Zurich, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mumbai and Johannesburg in areas including facultative, alternative risk transfer and business development within Swiss Re.
