Alison Nisonger Head Property UW CAN & Globals NA CUO P&C Reinsurance

Alison Nisonger has spent 14 years in the reinsurance industry and currently is a Senior Vice President who heads up the US Property Globals Treaty Underwriting desk at Swiss Re.  She manages a team that assesses the risk (both quantitatively and qualitatively) of property portfolios for the largest P&C insurance writers.  Before this role, she led a team of casualty underwriters who analyzed treaties for US regional clients that wrote general liability, workers compensation and motor.   She spent several years as a casualty underwriter at Swiss Re in various markets including the US, Australia, and London.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2008 with a degree in both Industrial and Systems Engineering and Economics.  She currently lives in New York where her husband runs an organic vegetable farm on their property.  She has two young sons who are filled with energy and keep her busy outside of the office.
