Alejandro Ruiz is a lawyer who graduated from ICESI University, with a specialization in Insurance Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and is currently an Executive MBA (EMBA) candidate at Universidad de los Andes. He has completed and attended various insurance and reinsurance courses and seminars both locally and internationally, including a course in international negotiation. He has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry.
His experience has focused on claims management, representing various reinsurers across Latin America, the Iberian Peninsula, and the Caribbean. In addition, he has supported underwriting teams in optimizing policy wordings and drafting clauses, leveraging his extensive claims management experience.
