About the Role



As an L&H Sales Operations Specialist within Swiss Re's growing Life & Health team, you will beat the heart of end-to-end reinsurance operations across the APAC region. From onboarding new deals to managing in-force contracts and supporting treaty reviews, your contributions will have a direct and meaningful impact on productivity, process efficiency, profitability, and accuracy. Working as One Swiss Re, you'll collaborate closely with Client Managers, Pricing, Valuation, and Finance teams across Asia — driving simplicity, taking accountability, and making decisions at speed.



Key responsibilities


  • Own and deliver contract data accuracy and timeliness to ensure Trusted Actuals are consistently met
  • Enhance First-Time-Right outcomes by performing 4-eye reviews as a preventive control to uplift quality and operational discipline
  • Drive exceptional Contract Data Accuracy, consistently targeting and sustaining high standards across all deliverables
  • Proactively engage with cross-functional teams (XFT) to ensure accuracy and completeness of all data inputs
  • Reflect Quote Onboarding status accurately in internal systems and manage end-to-end deal onboarding in partnership with Market Units
  • Lead cross-functional coordination to deliver smooth and compliant Treaty Onboarding integrations, with a focus on mitigating IFRS challenges
  • Support AI adoption and system enhancements by providing business insights, validating changes, and helping shape solutions that elevate operational efficiency
  • Reduce risk of leakage and operational issues through proactive monitoring and controls
  • Ensure adherence to IFRS requirements and consistently meet Sales Operations KPIs on operational deliverables
  • Participate in regional and global projects, audit reviews, and system testing and improvement proposals
  • Mentor and train team members, contribute to building a succession pipeline, share best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement

About You

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience, ideally within Life and Health Insurance or Reinsurance


  • Reinsurance operations experience: Demonstrated experience working in the Reinsurance industry, administering end-to-end operations including Quote Administration and Contract Execution processes

  • Underwriting support expertise: Experience working within Underwriting or Underwriting support teams in Re/Insurance, with the ability to read, analyze, interpret, and validate contract terms in collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • L&H product knowledge: Good understanding of Insurance and Reinsurance products, particularly in the Life & Health space, including familiarity with the Reinsurance value chain(Actuarial, Finance, Underwriting, Claims, Contract, Valuation, and Accounting)

  • IFRS knowledge: Understanding of IFRS requirements and their operational implications within a reinsurance context

  • Operational Risk Management (ORM): Familiarity with ORM frameworks and their application in a reinsurance operations environment

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong focus on quality deliverables with the ability to identify issues early and propose effective solutions

  • Digital fluency: Comfort with MS Office tools, Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent AI-assisted platforms to drive efficiency

  • Stakeholder management: Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to negotiate professionally and interact effectively across diverse, multicultural teams

  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office atleast three days per week.
