With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance sector, Philippe Talleux occupied multiple executive positions in the AXA Group: Group head of audit for Insurance, and asset management activities, Excom member of AXA Corporate Solutions (corporate risk carrier of the AXA Group, merged with XL to build AXA-XL) in charge of technical, policy management, claims, risk engineering, Legal and IT departments. He started as corporate liability underwriter at the UAP Group before joining the AXA Group as head of the French underwriting team in Liability for corporate risks. Philippe is a qualified actuary and chaired the board of the French Institute of actuaries (Institut des actuaires). He is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE, as well as an alumni from the Georgetown Leadership Seminar, and lastly, a professional fellow of the Institut Louis Bachelier (French structure for the financing of research in Finance and Insurance).
